A few things here. One, you should be able to open your drawer with the No Sale feature. Charge on $0.00 > record no sale transaction. Two, use the key that came with your drawer. Three, and this is what we do, leave your drawer open at night (take the cash out and leave the change). We do this in case someone breaks in. If the drawer is close they will destroy it trying to get in. This would be more costly to replace than the change.
