there is a big scam going on were kids now have the square ding on there phone and use this to trick us to thinking the payment has gone thru i was stung 5 or 6 times yestersday at a kids event were i heared the ding but after turning my back seen the payment didnt go thru. and the customer has already left
we are a high turn over food truck and we do mulipul tasks to get the orders out i dont have time to wait for the confermation and rely on the beep to let me know if payment was sucessful
need to be able to change the default sound to somthing different so we are aware of the correct tone to identify a sale.
or be able to question the sale at the end of the day if the transaction didnt go thru
im happy to pay for the service if we can get it sorted asap
or have no choice to find another platform to solve this issue

Yeah, there have been a few sellers that have been scammed with a similar thing here in the US.
At current, you are correct that there is no way to change the confirmation tone, but there are a few things you can do to prevent some of the frauds:
-Turn on security on your device at More -> Settings -> Security. Enable both "To back out of a sale" and "To back out of a customer-facing payment screen". That way if the scammers try to change the sale to a cash sale they can't.
-If you have printers or a KDS screen, enable order tickets. Those will only print/display once the transaction is complete.
Otherwise, your only real way currently would be to physically check a device to make sure the transaction is complete. It's not great but currently it's the best we have. I recommend posting this on the Feature Request section of the website as well: the dev team regularly looks through the list for updates to the software.
