I'm in the process of moving my business and will have to do business offline for a few days. When I disconnect my square register from my current internet provider will I still be able to book clients and take payment? I set up the pay option on my phone will I be able to take payment that way?
Hi @CosmoBleu 👋 My name is Violet and I'm one of the Moderators here in the Square Community. Nice to meet you! 😊
If you're unable to connect to a Wi-Fi network, you can use your Square Register and process payments in Offline Mode. You would just need to upload them within 3 days of taking the payment. If needed, you could take your Square Register home, and connect to your home wifi to upload the payments. You can find more details on using Offline Mode in this article from our Support Center.
If you'd prefer to take payments and book clients on your phone, you can do that as well, using your phone's data. You would just need to download the Square Appointments app onto your phone, and sign into your existing Square account, if you've never used your Square account on this device before.
I hope this answers your question, but please let me know if I can help with anything else!
