@Krt1 @As far as I can tell nothing has changed since 2025. I do know there is a feature request from 2024 wanting call forwarding added, you may want to jump over there and comment on it, if enough people request Square may add it.
Call forwarding feature request
On porting the number out to another provider — I haven't seen anything from Square saying that's possible, and I don't want to guess on something like number portability. I know when we went with Square for our number, we were told we could not port our old number over, so I would assume it would be the same if you wanted to port a Squarw number to someone else.
