Have the CD-101A cable. APG customer service says that the printer should give a signal to the drawer thru USB to pop open but since the POS app does not see it as a USB device, this appears to be a dead end. APG also says that they have been trying to get Square to address this issue for years but has gotten no response.
Any insights/resolutions would be most appreciated.
Hello @Moodance! That cash drawer is a printer-driven cash drawer, so it must be connected to a supported printer to automatically open. Can you let us know a bit more about your set up? Do you have a Square Stand and a receipt printer?
