Will square be required to report all cash sales to IRS for 2022?

I have heard that square will have to report cash sales to the IRS this year but can't find any info to confirm that,any info?

@Kim07 right now the only thing that has changed is that all third party payment providers have to report aggregate transactions over $600.  The only thing that square is doing is reporting card transactions on a 1099-k form.  I haven't seen anything about reporting cash transactions you record in the system, but those would be subject to any irs audit just like any business record you have.  The best protection you have is good record keeping and to make sure to pay any taxes owed on time.
