We are a twelve-step group using Square to collect charitable contributions. We are being asked to re-verify our organization. We are not officially registered with the government, but all the money we collect goes towards our efforts to help others in their recovery. Does anyone have ideas how we can re-verify? Any thoughts or ideas would be appreciated.
@MayaP I received a message that you had responded to this thread but when I came to try to find the response, I could not find it. If you had something to contribute, would love to hear it. Thank you!

Hey @Area79,
Thanks for reaching out, I am happy to assist!
Where are you being asked to re-verify? Did you get an email or a notidication? If you can provide any sort of photo of what you got that would be great.
Hello @Area79,
I apologize, I am not sure what happened, but I went ahead and merged the threads. Can you clarify how you were notified to re-verify? If you have a photo you can provide that would be very helpful.
Thank you!
You said "I'm not sure what happened" and I wonder if this has to do with us being Canadian, and your account is American? When I connect to the support forum I'm asked if I want the US or Canadian forum. Anyhow...
We were notified about reverification via email, see below/attached:
Hi @Area79 - Just to clarify, Square does operate in Canada, so your location isn't a problem.
I’ve double-checked, and those notifications were sent to merchants who need to update their business type. Be sure to follow the link in the email to re-verify your information.
Thanks for taking care of this—we appreciate your understanding!
Thanks for your input, @MayaP. We have followed the link. It asks for government corporate / charitable registration numbers, etc. We are a charity -- all the money we collect goes towards our efforts to help others in recovery from alcoholism. However, we are not officially registered with the government, so it is not a simple task to re-verify our account, unfortunately.

I hate to hijack this conversation... but...
If Square doesn't operate in Canada, why do Canadians always get directed to Canadian support? Maybe this is why I cannot get any support for Weebly issues. Is there any Weebly support in another country?
