Hi everyone, I have an issue. I run a service business in Sydney Australia and have the ability for customers to Schedule an appointment online. As you know, when they book, a notification is sent to me to approve or not approve it. That is all good when I am in the same time zone but sometimes I am away. The problem arises when say I am in London and receive a notification about an appointment. I go to my calendar In square, it says up the top ‘calendar time zone is different to business’. I look at the date of the requested appointment and it shows that it is trying to schedule the appointment for 4am - not the actual time it is scheduled for with the client. I have accepted the appointment previously and it scheduled it for the dodgy time.
My question is how do I sync my calendar time zone to stay the same as my business time zone so I can still approve appointments whilst I am away?
Hey @JustinArndt! Thanks for flagging, and welcome to the UK Seller Community! Let's have a look at what we can do to fix your booking system. 🙂
Usually with Square Appointments, you are able to lock the booking timezones to match your business' timezone or allow your customers to choose a timezone when making a booking. To do so:
Can you try those steps above and let me know how you get on? I'd be happy to take another look into the issue if it persists.
Hi Skyler, I checked the above settings but it is already set as ‘lock booking timezone to business location timezone’. So I don’t know why it is doing this. If I look at my current appointments on the app which should be in Sydney, Australia time they are not. I don’t know what to do. All the settings seem correct…
