If I create an invoice from the dashboard there is an option to add a discount. If I create an invoice using the Invoices app, there is no discount option. Why the difference.

Hi @Breffni I’ve just created a new invoice using the app and discovered I can to do exactly what I was suggesting as an improvement already i.e. add a discount to individual items. Thanks again for your help.

Sorry for the delay.
I had a look and it seems that the discount section is located within 'line items' in the Invoices app.
Invoices App > Create Invoice > Add a customer > Add a line item > Select item/discount.
I can see this isn't the most user-friendly so I'll pass the information back to the product team for future improvements.

Thanks @Breffni I hadn’t noticed that. An improvement would be to have the discount available at the item level. Use case: I sell items that may each attract a discount but also need to add postage costs as an item which doesn’t get discounted. Thank you

Hi @Breffni I’ve just found that, when adding an item to an invoice it only shows one discount that can be applied. To add a different discount, it has to be added as a new item.
