Hello @Aimeearthurs thanks for your post. I have not had a personal experience of a customer using more than one gift card, however once you swipe the first gift card, and there is a remaining balance, I would think that one could swipe another gift card for the balance? I'm not sure but this could work. Maybe another seller who's had this personal experience can also comment here.
Hi @Aimeearthurs - I see this is your first post in the Seller Community so I'd like to officially welcome you! 🎉👏
I'm not sure if we do have a cap on how many gift cards can be used per transaction but I've just reached out to the Gift Cards Product Team to confirm. I'll let you know what they say! 🙂

Hi again @Aimeearthurs👋 The Gift Cards Product Team got back to me and here's what they said:
"On the Gift Card side, there’s no limit on the number of gift cards that can be used to pay a bill. If one gift card balance is not sufficient for the total amount of a bill, the Point of Sale will allow the Buyer to make another payment. Then the Buyer can use another gift card to pay. The bill of this purchase will show multiple payments were made. The Buyer will also get a receipt for each payment they made."
I hope this information is helpful but please do let me know if you have any additional questions.
What kind of Gift Card are you referring to?
One from Square or a Visa/MC gift card?
We operate near ski resorts and customers come in with Visa/MC Gift Cards and have used more than one at a time. For this type you just need to do the Split Tender type transaction and enter the information like you would for a person using Cash and a credit card. I have already done 3 Gift Cards then one regular CC this way, but have not tried doing this with a Square Gift Card.
The other question for you is this for an in person or Online transaction? My instructions and experience has been for In-store purchases only......so far.
