During the transaction of a card payment today, the screen went black and then a second later came back on, the transaction didn’t go through and there was no record of the sale, did the sale again and went through fine. Worried it’s a hack? Any one else had this problem or know what happened?
Hi @TUMMYBUSTER, I'm sorry to hear you experienced an issue during your sale. We didn't receive any reports of such issue, It may be because of your Terminal settings, internet connexion or the environment...etc. As long as you keep your Square Terminal updated and fully charged, the terminal should work as expected.
You did right to check the transaction right away. If the payment was interrupted, the transaction would be voided. In such case, the payment won't be recorded in your Transactions section of your app or Dashboard and you need to try again.
