Hi,
We have users trying to access our Square shop, that use Bitdefender, being blocked. Bitdefender is stating that the website is malicious and distributes malware.
I checked our shop's URL on Bitdefenders website (https://www.bitdefender.com/en-au/consumer/link-checker) and it reports the same:
Anyone know of a fix?

Hi @Sharkie,
Thank you for reaching out!
@JTPets is correct—this issue is best addressed by contacting Bitdefender directly. Antivirus software, like Bitdefender, can sometimes mistakenly flag websites as malicious due to false positives. Fortunately, you can submit a request to Bitdefender Labs to resolve this incorrect site blocking. Once Bitdefender confirms the issue, they will correct the false alarm, and your customers using Bitdefender should no longer encounter any problems. Please fill out the form on this page at your earliest convenience.
I hope this helps! If you have any further questions, feel free to ask. 😊

There are any number of reasons why bitdefender could be seeing this as malicious. Could be domain related to a code snippet on your website. However only they could answer this issue not us here. I would suggest you reach out to them directly and find out their reasons

We only use Sqaure for the online shop. Simply add items that are available to purchase. Our website is completely separate (and tests okay with Bitdefender). Could it be something Square has that is out of our contol?
