Deposit feature feedback

First.. I love that there is now a deposit option! It REALLY helps with collecting a fee for No show/Late cancellations as before, people would just shut their card off and we could not charge. I do, however have a lot of feedback regarding the feature that I feel is important to make this option really worth it.

1) We need to be able to book an appointment on behalf of a customer WITH the deposit option. As of right now, we cannot, which makes me have to send the customer to our website to book, which may result in me losing that booking.

2) Checkout option on the terminal. I am not going to use the desktop or card on file option because it A. Costs me more money in transaction fees, but it B. Is a fraud liability as they are not physically swiping or inserting and can easily dispute charges which would result in their favor.

3) The deposits show as "partial payment" and does not appear under our actual sales unless the transaction is completed on the desktop. I have had MULTIPLE issues and concerns about whether I am actually receiving these deposits because the sales amount I am collecting does not match the amount going into my bank at the end of the day, and the discrepancy is with the deposit amounts. This makes my reports appear really off..

4) There should be an option for customers to cancel their appointment as well. Right now, there is not. If they want to cancel, they have to call us and we have to "refund" the deposit, which also costs me money in square fees. They should be able to cancel their appointment if within the policy timeframe, and it should automatically give them their deposit back if so.
