View the source of the booking appointment

Since I integrate my square appointments on various social media and online platforms, 

It would be great to know where the customer is coming from such as Instagram, Google, Facebook, Website, etc

Knowing where the customers are being driven from will provide valuable insight to understand which platforms are working and which are not, so they can be marketed appropriately.

As various Square development teams will tell anyone (I’m looking at you, Loyalty! LOL), I am NOT a fan of “hidden” information.  To my way of thinking, all information that Square collects/stores related to our accounts, businesses and customers, etc, should be readily available to us.  This is just another example of that, since I am pretty sure that Square knows where appointment bookings are coming from, but just chooses not to show us.

 

Of course, I might be missing something obvious, but……. Anyway, I agree with @mitin.  This is information that could be considered critical to many sellers, not just this seller.

Hi @mitin , that’s an excellent feature request. We appreciate you sharing your business use case and why it would be valuable for you. If you know of any fellow Seller Community members who would like to see this built out as well, feel free to tag them in your post so they can share their thoughts as well! The more sellers chime into the request, the more likely it is to catch our product team's eye.

Thank you for the encouragement,  I am surprised that Square is not already able to do that, considering how valuable this would be for merchants so they can prioritize their marketing. 

This should have been there from the beginning

 

What can we do to expedite this request?

I am seeing a trend where square just keeps asking for basic functionality as a feature request, I am seeing feature requests in forums being made 5+ years ago but still don't see that.

Is there a list of feature requests that have been completed by Square, would like to see how its actually working,

@kristen @kpay1 this has been open for 9-10 years now, is square going to take accountability and ownership on any of these requests or just deflect them under the pretext of "feature requests". 

Its not fair to square customers who are paying for a product and not getting the benefits
