Select the same modifier multiple times

Hi, I found out that there are many people have same request as me since 2018 thread. 

"Feature Request: Support selecting the same modifier more than once from username glenas" there are about 80 comments requesting for this specific update. So I was trying to comment there but it was locked. So here I am staring new thread to request this feature. 

Please make an update regarding modifiers. It won't let me choose same modifier more than once. And I have to calculate the amount and write it down by hand on the receipt to add same modifier more than once. It seems like many Square users need this feature and I don't understand why it has not been updated since 2018. Please make it possible to choose same modifier multiple times. Thanks.

We have found the same issue and it’s driving us crazy. Coffee shop and can’t charge for multiple syrups without listing every single possibility. The list is enormous! Just crazy. If someone at Square actually uses the software in a selling environment, they would see why this needs to be added.

Same issue. Been requesting for 2 years. Get the same answer every time. "We notified our product team and blah blah blah..." We sell bagels and there's nothing more frustrating than having to navigate 13+ modifiers for 1 dozen bagels. I cant even offer 2 dz or more options because I'd need 40 modifiers for the order and who is gonna take the time to pick "plain" 40 times when they just want plain bagels? God forbid I sell out of a flavor... Would be lots of fun at the busiest time to have to stop and manually sell out 1 option on all those modifiers. I used Touchbistro prior and it was an atrocity BUT it had quantity modifiers. Anybody know what timeline we are playing on here?

@kristen I would like to link you to this thread from back in 2023 requesting the very same thing as @tulanejeff has suggested in a more recent post. I hope this will help amplify how many people are actually wanting to see that feature come to life.

We have a create your own omelet that allows you to have 3 modifiers included, and they charges you for additional items with another modifier set.  But sometimes people want American cheese, ham, and more American cheese.  Or in a combo basket, you have the option of having 3 different appetizers along with fries.  Sometimes people want 2 "orders" of the same thing (ex. 8 chicken strips instead of 4).  MODIFIERS NEED TO BE ABLE TO BE SELECTED MORE THAN ONCE.  I could only select two options and then add an item note that they want double of something, but that is time consuming.

Please implement this feature! It is a game changer for several businesses. 

I am considering switching platforms to a program that provides all the features of Square plus what we are all asking for. This is not a difficult request, you just need a coder to build it in.
