How to change the display name of an item on the Online Store?

So I have items in my menu that I named a certain way for my staff, but I don't want them to appear with those names on my online store.  I don't currently see a way to do that.  Does anyone know if there is a way?  If I change the item name on the online store, it synchronizes and changes it from my Library as well.

For example, lets say I have Cheeseburger in my item library, but on the online store I want to give it a name like Johns Famous Cheeseburger, can I do that without renaming the item in my library as well?

They will update the feature whenever they feel like it. We are all wasting our times here. The agents are trained to say the same thing over and over. This is pretty sad.

Would also love this feature. My Etsy product names are crammed with keywords and I would rather not have that in my online shop. It's such an easy add!

Hi, again any update on this feature ? It would also be very useful on square for retail, not just restaurants to have an "online display name" and separate option for "backend/itnernal name" ??? It is obviously a very desirable and in-demand feature.

Any update on this? It's been over four years now and a basic feature doesn't seem to be implemented! POS names and online names often need to be different
