Donations instead of tip

We are non profit and we do not accept tips for our cashiers but we would like to ask for an additional donation after the purchase. Simply being able to change the word "tip" to the word "donation" would suffice. But something like a round up option would be even better.

Hi @GoldenIsles @FandF719 @PunchGallery and others who have posted here! I am following up to let you know that we talked to the head of Retail products, and he confirmed this is not on the roadmap for 2025. He did however thank us for bringing visibility to the feature request and will consider it in planning for 2026. We will keep you updated here and in Product Updates if there is development. Hi @GoldenIsles, I'm glad @Hailey was able to connect with you via DM to give you more context about the status of this request. I just want to assure you that Hailey and I did talk to the correct person to get the information, and as the team scopes out how they would release this feature they will conduct more research on how many customers it affects, etc. Thank you again for taking the time to provide your feedback and to flag this again so we could address it.

I do have another major issue with Square that I hope you can help me resolve or at least point us in the right direction. A phone call with Square customer support went nowhere. The account was set up by former staff maybe [email removed for privacy]  or another former staff member at the Golden Isles CVB. They no longer work here and the email has been deactivated. Therefor, nobody at our company, even the CEO and CFO can make changes to our account or troubleshoot with customer service when things go wrong. My name is Ryan Hutchison and my email is [removed for privacy] and I would like to move ownership to a generic team email that we have, [email removed for privacy] that will live forever.   How can we regain control of this account without having to make a new one (losing all the sales and inventory data)? We'll do whatever it takes - in person meeting with a Square rep, video calls, sharing licenses, certificates, other credentials to validate we are the business owners. But if we cannot change the account owner, we have no other choice but to move to Shopify. Is this something you can help us with?

Thank you @GoldenIsles — I have escalated this issue regarding the account owner/email. We will get this resolved for you ASAP.  You'll notice i have removed the emails you provided for privacy sake. Rest assured our account team will get all of this info from you when updating the account.
