Barcode Printing

I have heard barcode printing will soon be available on the register.  This is great news and makes perfect sense.  The staff at the front of the stores handles stock...pricing the items is one step of getting goods ready to be displayed in store for sale.  

I am extremely disappointed that in order to print the barcodes, a very basic function of retail business, you must be on the Retail Plus plan.  I do not see any extra effort or benefit being provided by Square to require this significant monthly cost for a business to justify being on Retail Plus for simply having ability to print barcodes.  

Please consider this and make available to your Square businesses on the register at no extra cost.

I appreciate you reaching out with this feedback. And I do understand your concern. The ability to print barcode labels has always been a Retail Plus feature, but this is not currently on the roadmap. Included in our plus plan is access to retail reports and creating purchase orders. We hope you find value in this plan and its additional features. Again we completely understand your concern but I do want to be transparent there will be no pricing change.

My question is that who do I contact to express my frustration with such a simple function being available only with retail plus plan?  My business does not need the extra features of retail plus, which at $60/month for each location totals $180/month.  This is outrageous for me to simply print barcodes.  Who at square feels this is not a basic function that should be available to your customers simply using the POS system for their business?  It makes ZERO sense.  

I need someone to discuss this with $60 a month at each location.  

I hope Square understands this is a perfect recipe for customers to jump ship when a better opportunity arises.
