Why is square reviewing my every transaction and holding funds

  • Since I have been using this payment processing app you have false advertised and caused chaos beyond belief how do you justify reviewing my account every time I get money you hold my money without any explanation that is fraud false advertisement and b******* and it's finest you don't mess with people's money if you don't have to and you **bleep** well better be able to explain your actions and not just sit there thinking that I'm supposed to just take it you must have lost your mind if you think this is the way a business needs to operate don't you know real life situations in business when you get paid you have to pay people or you have to pay bills or you have to do things that affect the livelihood or quality of your life or your employees life I have been stranded on the road out of gas because Square the piece of s*** Payment Processing Company without any explanation lock my account after charging a client of mine you have done this 95% of every action I take on this account that is trash

Hey @BBBSWD123.  So you asked a question but then you proceeded to just vent, gripe and complain without giving us any helpful information about your or your business.   So, you’re not going to get any answers from us — your fellow sellers — since you didn’t bother to give us anything to go on.  That being said….

 

Your best bet for finding out what is going on here is to get on the phone with Square Support and ask them.  Don’t do text chat.  Don’t email them.  Talk to a human being.  Also, for the record, you’ll get to your answers faster if you lose the attitude and be nice to the representative who answers the phone.  Give them a change to help you before you got crazy on them and cop an attitude like you did in your post above.  I understand your frustration.  But you are not helping yourself or your cause.

 

There are so many reasons why people have experiences like you described.  Most likely, someone (Visa, Mastercard, a customer’s bank, a customer) is raising a red flag and causing your transactions to be marked for review.  Since we don’t know what kind of business you run — because you didn’t bother to mention this in your long string of complaints and profanity — it’s hard to know where to begin.  You also didn’t say if you are new with Square or not.  Or if this just started, or has been going on for months/years.

 

Obviously there is something about your business, or your transactions, or your customers that is causing all of these red flags.  Customer service can help, I would think.  And if you will bother to actually give us — your fellow sellers — some information that might help us guide you, then we will do our best.  But if all you want to do is complain, be a victim and not help us help you, then this will keep happening and you’ll keep being frustrated.
