Once my customers pay an invoice, it always shows in my available balance right away. This morning, a customer paid and nothing is showing on my end. I’m panicking because this is a last minute, rush order.

According to this info - there's been no system incidents reported. (Of course that can always change.) As for funds not showing up yet, there can be a delay depending on when the transaction takes place - i.e., weekends and/or holidays. As the Community is not the same as Customer Service or Tech Support - I don't believe anyone here can give you an exact cause for your delay.
