Is there a way to set higher loyalty points to be rewarded for a purchase for a specific customer group?
This means we award 1 point per dollar for loyalty to all customers, but I want a custom customer group to receive 3 points per dollar, not the 1 point per dollar. I don't see an option for this in the tier section.
Hey @BHAUS Currently this is not possible. There are only two ways right now to give customers more points. One is through loyalty promotions but you can’t limit those to certain customers or customer groups. The second is through the loyalty tier system, where as customers reach certain milestones you can apply multipliers to their future loyalty purchases. But for that one, you can’t manually put a customer into a tier — they must make the requisite purchases to get their.
Which leaves us at the point where all I can suggest is for you to head over to the Ideate Board and submit a feature request to the Loyalty team. Otherwise, if you need to do this now, you can search the Square App Marketplace and see if one of the third-party loyalty apps that integrate with Square will allow you to do this.
