Hello all, I opened up a small wax & skincare studio last year and I want to begin offering a reward program to my existing loyal clientele. While I continue to get clients, I want to work on keeping them. I began offering birthday and referral rewards like $5.00 off their entire purchase during their birthday month and for each referral sent (unlimited). I'm thinking about offering a points reward system for them to prebook their next and future appointments so my appointment book is at least filled 8-12 weeks out and/or offering rewards towards $$ spent, but don’t know how much $$ spent should be rewarded. I hope I make sense.
Which loyalty rewards program would you recommend?
Congratulations on your business!
I have a hair studio and have a similar desire for rewarding my loyal clients. I came up with a modified approach to my point qualifiers since it isn’t possible to do a variety of automatic actions.
So, I manually input if someone received 1-10 points based on certain things (social media mention, review, product purchase, treatment add-on, referral) and then when they hit 50 points they get $40 off their next service. I’ve found that it’s a way to reward and encourage more growth.
Hope this helps!
If you use the Loyalty through Square you won't need to make a special note because their Loyalty balance will pop up at checkout. They can choose if they want to use it or save it.
I hope your clients see the value in the Loyalty program!
Hello,
Congrats on your business. Our business is very different, I have a retail cigar lounge. However, I think the right rewards strategy can work for anyone. My customers LOVES my point system. I think they love that they can earn enough points to get a freebie.
So here is what I do...... My average purchase price or cigar price is $10. The customer earns 1 point if they spend $10 or more in one transactions. After they earn 10 points then they can spend $10 toward any cigar which usually works out to a free cigar!
They are constantly checking and making purchases over $10 to ensure they get points.
With that said just make sure your rewards system is attainable which will encourage more purchasing....
Thank you firensmokecigar for reaching out to me! I appreciate you taking the time to wish me a congratulatory email for my new business 😀and for the informational recommendations that I was seeking. This is perfect!!

Thank you @JessPoynterfor the congratulatory message and for reaching out. I appreciate you taking the time to share what you do too.
I definitely want to reward folks for all that you mentioned; leaving a review (maybe 10 pts), referral (5 pts), social media mention, treatment add-on, and product purchase. I will need to make notes on each of my client's profiles and schedule a reminder to ask my guest if they're interested in redeeming their points at point of sale or on their next visit, etc. This is a great incentive and reward system! Again, thank you!!
Best of luck with your continued success! This is extremely helpful! =D

Sorry SO late on the reply. I replied in my mind two weeks ago. 😳 Good to know about the Loyalty program through Square! My clients will see the value in this, and if they don't, I'll remind them. 😉
Thank you again!
