Hi! There have been lots of discussions on less and less socials personally and for businesses and going back to ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฅ drum roll pleaseโฆ NEWSLETTERS!
Sent out our first really intentionally one this week. Weโve done them in the past but not all the time. We now want to do them monthly!
Do you send newsletters for your business?
Do you read a newsletter when it shows up in your inbox?
What types do you send v what do you actually like to read?
Is it a MUST to add a coupon?
If you donโt send them- why not? Is something else more effective?
Canโt wait to hear from you all!
you are loved.
Everything I hear is that newsletters are the rage. I signed up for quite a few on Substack, and honestly, they just collect dust there most of the time. But with today's AI and some simple prompts and some personal tweaks, I bet you can pop out a weekly, short and concise, and fun newsletter a week.
I donโt do Sunstack but it looks interesting!!
We donโt use any AI tools for
connect. Feels it robs us of our
own tone and voice.
However you are so right! They donโt take long and are a fun way to share with people whatโs happening ๐
When we do our membership system, newsletters are on the plan. Be good to involve the two venues.
Absolutely!
ps- youโre so close to 100 ๐ keep going.
Haha yeah I am, I am also trying to not just comment for the sake of it haha.
Yes, we send them, use them, read them, and include Square coupons when appropriate. I read a lot of paid subscription substack and Patreon newsletters as well as companies I align with. Daphne, my partner, just took a newsletter class. She's going to help me with a post for tips from class.
Oh! Thatโs so awesome. I just kinda went in blind haha. A whole class sounds amazing.
I wouldn't say it's a proper "newsletter" but now that you mention it- we should start! We do send a weekly email communication with what's going on, etc- but I think the idea of a newsletter with content is fun! Maybe a freebie offer to incentivize reading the newsletter.
Yes!!
sounds great. You seem to be basically doing one just expand on it.
