We have an established loyalty program where customers earn a point per visit, and then can redeem six points for a pastry on their next visit. I would also like to start a separate loyalty program based on a subscription item - people who subscribe to the item get 10% off of certain purchases. Is there any way to work around this? It looks like Square doesn't allow multiple rules for earning points but this just seems silly. I can't believe that people have been asking for this for years and there hasn't been any movement on it
Thanks for posting @bierlybrewing ! I'm Hailey from the Community team. Although I don't believe there is a fully-automated solution to this use case through loyalty, I think there might be a workaround with creating a customer group and then creating a customer group discount.
@JTPets @vinesandrushes both use loyalty and have some ideas of their own with their use cases. Any ideas @JTPets @vinesandrushes ?
Yes I host a local app to track customer purchaeses and vendor sponsored buy 12 get 13th free. I use customer groups and discounts together to support this. I do wish the loyalty api was more robust so I could post directly to their rewards account a specific discount
