How do you remove the option for clients to claim their loyalty rewards after the purchase? I don’t honor discounts on already discounted items and they can claim the discount on their end. I don’t want the option for the client to be able to claim after the transaction is completed.
It was not like that before the update and I can not locate how to remove that.
I have the square register.
I hate to have to cancel the loyalty program.
Hi there @Sultry-HSV Once you are logged into your Square.com Dashboard... Follow the steps below!
1. Click on "Loyalty"
2. Click on "Settings"
3. Scroll down until you find the "Enable claimable points"
NOTE: you'll want to make sure this is turned "Off"
4. Then make sure to hit "Save" at the bottom of the screen
NOTE: For good measures I always log out of Square after "Saving" and then log back into and navigate back to this setting to make sure that it took effect!

I did that it it’s still prompting on their end to claim their discount.
@Sultry-HSV I would recommend reaching out to support if it’s still allowing them to redeem after purchase and you followed the above steps! There may be a bug. What platform are you running? Basic, retail, restaurants?
