Hi, I’m a Square seller and my account was recently frozen due to a fraud investigation. When I regained access, my entire customer directory had been deleted — over 700+ clients gone. I was told by support it’s not recoverable, but I’ve seen others in this community say Square does have data backups in fraud cases.
Has anyone here had their customer directory successfully recovered after deletion?

When you regain access, nothing should be deleted. To clarify, was the deletion done by a fraudster? I reviewed your account and see 1,962 customers in your directory — does that sound right? Was anything else deleted?
