We recently closed a location and deleted the online store we had for it from square. The location has been inactivated in Square, and the location is turned off for fulfillment in Online settings.
When I start a new marketing campaign from Square, the default link assigned to any images in the campaign go to this deleted site (which now just looks like https://####################.square.site, where the #'s is a long string of numbers). I can update the link to our active location, but would like to remove this orphaned site link from the Link URL options so I don't accidently forget to update it and send people a broken link. Any help/insight would be appreciated.
Hi @Shannon-Soaked. Sorry to hear about the closed location. I think this will work for you. From your dashboard, go to Marketing -> Settings. You’ll see settings for things like “Default Location” and “Default Campaign Links” that you can change and save there.
Let me know if you need anything else!
Hi Chip,
Thanks for your response. Unfortunately, that didn't help my issue. I have our open location in all default location fields, but when I start a new email campaign, any links on pictures still default to the removed weebly site.
@Shannon-Soaked Well, I’m sorry to hear that. I am out of ideas, I’m afraid. You’ll need to get on the phone with the Customer Success Team here (don’t chat, talk to a live person). Hopefully they can either help you fix this or escalate it to someone who can fix it.
Good luck,
