Can you Add Customer names in emails?

In mailchimp and other email marketing platforms you can add the customer name to marketing emails by writing #name .. is this available in the square marketing emails? 

It would help open rates in some instances.

The ability to add names to our email marketing is currently a feature request. There's not any real workaround to accomplish this either at this point. But I'll pass your feedback along to our Product Teams.
