Birthday marketing campaign sends 7 days prior to birthday - can they be sent earlier?

I would like my birthday campaigns to be sent at least 14 - preferably 30 days prior to the birthday. Is there anyway to accomplish this short of editing birthdays to pad the additional time?

You can't change when it's sent out, but it is valid for a few months, I believe, so they can use the code after their birthday.

Considering our service is often used in conjunction with a birthday party, the likelihood of them using it after the birthday drops drastically.

I guess I'll just edit the birthdays to pad additional time so the emails are sent out earlier.
