Wondering why I can't see a customer's email even though it states that they have subscribed. How else can I see it? What am I missing?
Hi @JoJoRiley_JRCC. When new customers opt in to receiving electronic receipts via email, their email address is not stored visibly in the directory. However, their email address is known to Square. They are automatically enrolled in our marketing lists, however. Still, we do not see their email addresses. Basically, all we can do with those customers is send them receipts and include them in marketing emails as long as they don’t unsubscribe. But we can’t see their email addresses until such a time as they do more with us — like order online, for example.
That being said, can you elaborate on why you would want to see their email addresses?
