what are the set up costs of square and the ongoing transaction credit card fees.  so every cost?

Square applies a card processing fee on a per-transaction basis. You can read more about Square's processing fees here, in short:

• 1.6% for each contactless, chip and PIN or swiped card-present transaction on Square Terminal, Square Terminal, or when you connect Square Terminal with Virtual Terminal.

• 1.9% for each contactless, chip and PIN or swiped card-present transaction on Square Reader or Square Stand.

• 2.2% for each manually keyed-in payment to the Square app, recurring payments facilitated via Square Invoices Plus and Virtual Terminal. This also includes our online payment products, including , Square eCommerce API, Square Online, Square Online Checkout links, and purchases of Square Gift Cards.

There are no setup costs in creating an account and getting started, and the standard Square Point of Sale is free to download and use.
