developer options not supported

I am trying to connect my reader but cant do it. Everytime it shows error that developer options not supported. I have Huawei P30 pro phone.

I have also updated the app and tried restarting the phone also.

I have tried by switching off the developer option as well. But still cant connect. Plz help.

Thanks for reaching out. 

Unfortunately the Huawei P30 Pro is not a phone that has been tested as compatible with Square, so it may not offer an operating environment secure enough for us to process payments.This is one reason you may receive a "developer options" error.

One thing I've heard sometimes helps on Huawei phones is to:

1. Go to Settings on your device.
2. Tap on More Settings
3. Disable the button ‘Allow Hisuite to use HDB’.

 However this is not a guaranteed fix. Check out our compatibility list to view which devices have been tested as compatible and will work with Square Readers!
