add button to different sections

Is there a way to add a button or link to different sections when editing site ie the featured items section or gallery?

I noticed that the section, "embed PDF" had the option to add a button but don't see it in some other sections.

I was able to work around by adding a gallery then adding a text section which has a link option but the link would only show in one layout option, it would disappear in other layout options.

If there is a way to add a button in other sections that would be great!

You can add a button to any Embed code section of your website, @gw123.

You can also + Add Section to add Text and image sections, as most of these templates include a button you can link to a page:

Even if you don't see a button in the preview, you can add a button by clicking one of the Group names:

Be sure to toggle ON the Button option:
