Why is my account being deactivated ?

On March 11, 2026 I received an email from Square via my Gmail email. It said that my account was going to be deactivated in 30 days and if I had questions to call customer service. 

I called customer service and after being on the phone for almost an hour- I was told there was no reason listed and they would have to escalate this to get more information for me. I have been a faithful Square customer for over 4 years now. I am also a CBD business which means I had to submit a lot of paperwork to be compliant for CBD sales and processing. I have always maintained a good record with Square and if I have something for sale that Square has determined Im not supposed to, they have emailed me to let me know and I have immediately stopped sales and dumped inventory. 

I have absolutely no idea why this is now happening, I am also in the middle of paying off a loan which I am 100% compliant with as well. Im scared as I don't know what to do next or what will happen to my business from here. I also host my business website through Square and don't know what to do about that as well. Instead of transferring me to someone who might be able to further assist me and ask my questions to- then gentleman said he was going to disconnect the call and hung up on me. I am confused, hurt and annoyed at the treatment myself and my business are getting as I feel I have been a faithful Square customer and have always tried to do the right thing. Any bit of help on this would be greatly appreciated.
