Why is an email and phone number already in the boxes after I swipe a card?

When I swipe a card the next page asks where to send the receipt - by email or phone. Mine comes pre populated with an already used email and phone number. Why is that?

the card has been used at another retailer that uses Square, Square keeps the data for email and text associated with that card for faster checkout on future purchases.
