I started using my Square yesterday and it would only allow me to manually enter credit cards. Does that have anything to do with not being able to pair my square with my phone?

Thanks for getting in touch and sorry to hear you're having trouble with your reader!
If you've not successfully been able to pair your reader to the Point of Sale app you won't be able to take a physical card payment. Are you receiving any specific error messages relating to why the reader isn't connecting? Is the mobile device listed as compatible with Square Readers? Have you followed this article on connecting the reader and if so, what point do you get stuck at?
