Time Zone appears to be incorrectly displayed

Hi

Still getting to grips with some of the detail of Square Online system.

 

I've created a new Item (as an event) and set the start/finish times for the day.

When I save and view it (or save it and look on the website) the start time is shown as:

Date & Time
Tue, 30 Nov
09:30 - 16:00 BST
 
As far as I can tell the time zone on the site at the moment is set to Europe - London.
 
BST (British Summer Time) finishes on 30th October. It should be GMT (Greenwich Mean Time) or possibly UTC (Coordinated Universal Time), or possibly (and probably best) not stated at all as the time of the event will be the time on that day and it doesn't matter whether it's BST, GMT, or UTC. Canididates will arrive at 9:30 irrespective of the overall time setting the country is currently working to.
 
I appreciate that the time zone needs to be understood by the system so that, for example, reminders texts can be sent at the correct time from a server operating in a different time zone but the customer doesn't need to see it.

Thanks for flagging this @MikeEGTSC!

 

I had a play with this myself but haven't seen a way to hide the timezone from the item page, so I'm going to check in with our ECOM team and see if they know if a way to do this. Once I have an update from the team, I'll be sure to follow up and let you know.
