Taking payment through Wix website

Hello, I've linked my new Square account to my Wix website. A new client tried to sign up and said my site is not taking payments currently. Please help

Hi @LouiseG, sorry to hear you are running into this issue!

 

It's worth making sure that you've linked a bank account to Square and that it's verified. This is required for an account to be activated for taking card payments.

 

In addition, the minimum transaction amount required to process a card payment with Square is £1.00. I recommend checking that the item customer is trying to buy is £1 or more.

 

If the account is fully activated and the item is more than £1 but the same error message still show, we will need to make sure the link between Wix and Square is working. While we integrate with Wix to process payments, all API functions are operated and managed by Wix. In this case, the best thing is to contact their support team directly.

 

If for some reason they’re not able to help you, our team can investigate further if you provide your Wix support ticket number.
