Syncing issue?

Hi, I have uploaded 560 + items but only roughly 100 are showing on the website?

I have them all set to active, I have completed fulfilment settings. Some show out of stock even though set to visible but not for sale as yet, others have £NaN even though price is on the list, all put on the same way so I am at a loss as to why I can't see them?

Many thanks

Hi what platform are you using to add to square? Retail, POS, KDS?

Sometimes sync takes a while.

Do this in a browser not in the app. Check the inventory in the “web area” in your browser dashboard.

Log in to your account on safari, chrome or Firefox whatever your browser of choice.

Click “online” on the left side of the layout

expand “items” and click “site items”

All your items are listed there.  If some of the items are not there click the “Add item from library”

This will open a new window.

You can use filters here - there might - should - should - will be a list of the items that are not in your website.

If you click the top item little square. 🔲 it will hi light “ select all # of how many items aren’t in the web area. Top right.

Click select all and they will all move over.  (Categories is a good place to start here too if you have added all the info)

Note when you add an item to a “square site” online area - say in “featured items” and the stock for that item is at zero even if it is set to visible - it will not appear until you either add stock or select that item as not tracked stock in the main dashboard items area.

Basically this is to stop selling out of an item online and in store - overselling an item -  so it’s a live inventory.

If like us eveything is pretty much made to order - we have everything set to not tracked.  Physical product eg vases or candles etc are set to track - so you might want to play around with your settings as to how items appear when you add them to your catalogue.  I think eveything is normally set to stock at zero when you add so that things don’t appear straight away.   Also be aware that “your shop all” will always show the item you added last - so if you add Christmas lines say now it’s good to put them in a category now - then you can flip that category on nearer the time.
