We all get weird requests from customers, from realistic car tire cakes, to a chocolate milk shake, lactose free, with real milk. Share a funny or wried (or funny and weird) customer request you've had below.
At our bakeries we had a customer request that we make her a batch of Chocolate Chip cookies (seems simple so far), but they needed to have exactly 8 cookies and each had to have exactly 8 chocolate chips so no kid got more or less chips in their cookie. I get kids are always complaining about they got more but are they really counting the chips in a cookie when you can't even see them all on the outside of the cookie?
Wow! Sounds like the parent was more concerned than the kids...
I think the weirdest thing we get is a text message (which we don't do in business) that says something like - my furnace is blowing cold air, the thermostat is set to 70 but it's only 62 in my house, can you tell me what's wrong with it? Or... they call us and literally say, I don't want to pay for a service call, can you tell me what's wrong with my furnace?
When I get phone calls like that, I just want to hang up on them!
