Pickup not disabling

For now (as we are in lockdown), I want to disable pickup. So, I went into the Pickup and Delivery menu and disabled it. No issues here.

 

I then went to the web store and added an item. Sure enough, there was only one option to choose from - Shipping. Still good.

 

I then went to my cart. It had Shipping as the default, but with a 'change' link. I clicked on that and it allowed me to change from shipping to Pickup. Not good.

 

So, how can I disable this in the shopping cart as well?

Hmm, for some reasons that option isn't coming up for me.

In this case, would you mind trying some browser troubleshooting steps and see if that would help?

  • Make sure your browser is up to date.
  • Clear the cache on your browser. Access the Help menu of your browser to locate step-by-step instructions.
  • Switch to a supported browser, such as Google Chrome.

I;ve also noticed that there is a 'pickup or delivery' option in each item.

 

Do I have to go and disable all of those (in 300+ items) ?

Hey @alansh, I had a quick look on your website but I wasn't able to replicate the issue when adding items to cart. It looks like you might have been able to fully disable the pickup option.

 

In the future, if you need to change the fulfilment method for all your items, you should actually be able to do this in bulk!

Thanks for the update. But I can still change the shipping method once I get to the cart. When you look at the cart, you get a 'change' option as shown in this picture

Very interesting - I tried Vivaldi (a Chrome clone) and got exactly what you saw.

 

I use Firefox as my main browser. I'll try clearing that down and see what happens.
