New to Forum and Square

Hi

My wife and daughter have an older Square package reader (Model 58) that they used for a business. It hasn't been used for several years. They want to reactivate the account (it is still registered). However they would both like to operate off the one reader....(they are contractors working from the same location but with separate bank accounts and sets of books).

Can they work and both use the same reader but have deposited/transferred funds directed to different bank accounts ?

My initial reading suggests this is possible as long as two 'locations' are set up.

Hey @numerotto!

This should work, the reader will deposit to whoever's account it is connected to at the time of payment, so if the standard reader is linked into a device it should deposit to the account the Square POS app is logged into on that device.
