Merge two separate square accounts into one business

I added a personal account to test square for our club. The testing proved successful and I have now created the club account.

I want to use myself as a team member in the club's account, setup the team details using my email address and it sent me the email to join. When I log in it takes me to the test account I created.

Can I merge my test account into the club's account? Or can I remove the test account and just grant myself access anew in the club account?

Hi there, @ChrisOleary, great question and there is a simple fix for this!


We'd just need to release your email from the old test account and delete the account to ensure you can set yourself up as a Team Member on the new club account. Our system will be associating your email address with the original test account, which is why you're being redirected there.

We're unable to do this for you via the Seller Community as we require personal information. Please either send us a private message on the AU Square Facebook page or reach out to our Support Team with the below details, requesting that your email be released and the old account deleted.

1. Sign in to your Square account

2. Head to our contact page https://squ.re/3AWfZs2

3. Go to "Other", then "I don't see my issue"

4. Click "Message us", "Email us" or "Call Us"
