Is it NOT possible to sell Square Appointments on Square website with out embed or external link?

I have added a service to Square appointments. I want to publish on my Square online website. How do I do that? 

The only option I can see is to appointment button which opens up in a new tab, like:

https://square.site/book/L25GWQ31VBG22R/YOUR-COMPANY-NAME

Or I can embed the Square appointments within Square online, which tbh, looks horrible.

I am hoping someone will tell me I am wrong and there is a better way. I really want to be wrong with this because I have been very excited about appointments coming to the UK.

You are right - at the moment, to link your Square Appointments to your website, you can either create a button using the Embedded Code widget or link it to a button/navigational tab.

Thanks for confirming. I am disappointed. However, the platform has great potential if it had true appointment integration.
