Hi all
I have just joined and on behalf of my museum (which is a registered charitable trust and company limited by guarantee) have set up a Square account. However it records me as the 'business owner'. Is there a way to change this?

Hi Ash, I'd be happy to help.
The information (name, address, phone number) you provide when you sign up with Square is used to verify your identity during registration. As such, this information is permanent, and cannot be changed or edited.
A registered account owner will always be required when signing up. If the business ever needs to contact us for account-specific questions, we would need to speak to the Account Owner (you) or an Authorized Representative.
If you do someday leave the trust, a new account will need to be created in someone else's name - but the majority of the account information will be easily transferable.
We do have a feature that is not available in the UK yet where the name on the account can be transferred to someone else, so hopefully if the time does come that you need to do that, this feature will be available.
