I’m tech challenged and my friend promised me I’d do fine with square and gave me a referral code - I really appreciated this as due to covid tomorrow is the only fair we are doing until April (restrictions have made it less viable). So I purchased, followed the set up steps in the box, and then went to add my friend’s referral code only to realise that should have been done before setting up. I’ve sent an email to see what can be done, but as this is the only fair I will have use for it for over 6 months, I was really hoping to have the fees waived on tomorrow’s sales and now I’m not sure if I should still use it? Has anybody worked around this?

There is no work around that you will be able to do from your end to apply your friends code and get the free processing. In this circumstance, our support can sometimes manually apply the free processing for you. To see if they are able to do that we would need for you to give us a call so we can look over the account and verify some information.
