Hi there @VYManager.. I didn't think this was possible, but to be sure I fired up Square AI and asked it this question -- Is there a way to sell plastic gift cards in bulk without having to scan each barcode separately?
It returned this answer, confirming my suspicions.:
Selling plastic gift cards in bulk without scanning each barcode separately is not directly supported. Each physical gift card must be scanned, swiped, or manually entered to load value and activate it at the point of sale. Square's system requires scanning or entering the 16-digit gift card number for each card to load funds and complete the sale.
You can scan gift cards quickly using a barcode scanner or Square Handheld, but each card's barcode or number must be processed individually.
