I had started creating an account then soon realized it was not for me, and deleted the app. I had only come as far as giving them my number, email, and name. I have now received a text message saying “We recently detected something on your account that we need to review with you. To protect your balance, we temporarily placed fund transfers on hold.” (From the phone number square had recently sent my messages from)
How is this possible if I have not created an account or even linked my banking info?
