How can I change my account settings from 'Business' to 'Individual/Sole Trader'?

I just bought square - 2nd generation for casual market. For some reason i setup incorrectly as a Business instead of individual / sole trader setting.

How to fix this? Can someone help me. TIA

When you mentioned signing up incorrectly as a business, did you recall being prompted to enter an ABN number or other business information, such as details about business partners? If you weren't asked for this information and were able to sign up for Square without entering an ABN, it's likely that you signed up correctly as an Individual/Sole Trader, which is the only business type that allows registration without an ABN.

Are there any other indicators on your Square account that have led you to believe you've signed up under the wrong business type?

If it's just the business name (the one that appears on your Square receipts), you can edit this information at any time by following the steps outlined in this guide.
