Hello
Super new here.
I have a site on site123. I added square on there as my gateway payment option.
It added the credit card payment option, took all details correctly but payment failed.
Is there something I'm missing?
Site 123 said triple check an if still happening contact sqaure. Which I gave but was hoping to sort for tomorrow! Lol
Has anyone else had this or have any suggestions please?
Michelle

If you’re super new to Square and have just linked your bank account, it might be worth checking if the bank account is fully linked and verified, as the entire process can take up to 4 business days to complete. From Account & Settings in your online Square Dashboard, click Business Information > Bank Accounts.
You might also want to check your Transaction Status report for the failed payment, in case it was a simple decline for example.
If all appears to be in order on the Square side, and Site 123 isn't able to resolve the issue before your deadline for capturing the payment, then perhaps you might want to try one of the payment processing solutions native to your Square Dashboard or App?
If your client is ready to make the payment you could try Manual Entry, or send your client a Payment Link from your Virtual Terminal. You’ll find the steps for each process here.
Or, as already mentioned Square Online or Square Online Checkout Links may also be a solution, depending on your needs going forward. If you’d like to tell us more about your business model, I’d be happy to share some insights into what could be a good fit.
Hi @MyshellArtStudi and welcome to the community. So there looks like a disconnect between your website platform provider and the payment provider Square. This is likely to be one for the two companies to figure out. I would double check all the settings are input correctly, no typos which I'm sure you will have done. Do you know if the SSL padlock is visible ie your certificate is valid and active for your wensite? If you can't resolve you may want to look at Square Online, we find the close integration works well for us, takes out of the mix fragility of integrations between companies and when issues do arise they are fixed quickly so downtime to your business is minimised. Eliminates the who problem is it scenario Just a thought.
All the best and hope you get it straightened out quickly.
